Please read these terms carefully before booking a tour or using our travel services. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms mentioned below.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, confirming a travel proposal, or purchasing any travel service from The Taj Mahal Tours, a Travel Launchers initiative, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.

Definitions

Company / We / Us

The Taj Mahal Tours, a Travel Launchers initiative.

Customer / You

Traveller, passenger, client, guest or person booking our services.

Package / Tour

Hotels, transport, guides, sightseeing, flights, trains, transfers and other travel services arranged as part of your itinerary.

Booking / Reservation

A confirmed travel arrangement made after written acceptance and payment as per agreed terms.

Travel Documents

Passport: It is the customer’s responsibility to travel with a valid passport. Your passport should normally be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.

Visa: Customers are responsible for obtaining a valid visa or travel authorization wherever required. We may guide you with general information, but visa approval, rejection, processing time and immigration decisions are entirely under the authority of the relevant government or embassy.

Vaccinations & Health: Customers should consult their doctor or travel health advisor before travelling. Any vaccination, medication, medical fitness or health-related requirement is the customer’s responsibility.

Flights & Immigration: Customers are responsible for reaching airports, railway stations and departure points on time. We recommend arriving at least 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights.

Booking Acceptance

All tour confirmations must be accepted in writing through email, WhatsApp or another written communication channel. A reservation is not considered confirmed until the required deposit or payment has been received and confirmation has been issued by us.

Payment Policy

After you approve the itinerary and quotation, we will share the payment details and confirmation process. Unless otherwise stated in writing, the standard payment schedule is:

At the time of reservation 50% of total invoice value
15 days before arrival 25% of total invoice value
Upon arrival in India 25% of total invoice value

Payments may be accepted through bank transfer, wire transfer, credit card, payment gateway or other agreed payment modes. Credit card, PayPal or payment gateway transactions may attract additional bank or processing charges.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you need to cancel your confirmed tour, cancellation charges may apply. Hotels, airlines, transport providers, guides and other suppliers may also charge cancellation fees depending on their own policies.

Less than 7 days to 24 hours before arrival 50% of total invoice amount
Less than 24 hours or no-show 75% of total invoice amount

This cancellation policy applies to complete tour package bookings. Separate hotels, flights, train tickets, activities or transport-only bookings may follow the cancellation policy of the respective supplier.

Changes, Late Bookings & Availability

Late Bookings: Hotel rooms, guides, flights, trains and transport are subject to availability. Last-minute bookings may require additional charges or alternative arrangements.

Modifications: If you request changes after confirmation, we will try our best to assist. Any additional cost arising due to date change, hotel change, route change or service modification will be payable by the customer.

Unused Services: No refund will be provided for unused services, missed sightseeing, early departure, late arrival or any service not used by the customer during the trip.

Currency Fluctuation: Tour prices may change due to exchange rate fluctuations, supplier price revisions, tax changes or fuel price changes, unless the booking has been fully paid and confirmed.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all customers purchase suitable travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, baggage loss, accidents, delays and other unforeseen circumstances. The company is not responsible for medical expenses, loss of belongings, personal injury or expenses caused due to events beyond our control.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delay, change, cancellation, loss or additional expense caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, war, terrorism, strikes, riots, disease outbreaks, government restrictions, transport disruption, technical failure, accidents or any other unexpected situation.

Limitation of Responsibility

We act as a travel planner and booking facilitator for hotels, airlines, transport providers, guides, activity operators and other independent suppliers. These suppliers operate independently and have their own terms, conditions and liability policies. We are not responsible for supplier failures, delays, accidents, losses, service deficiencies or actions beyond our direct control.

Photographs & Videos

We may request permission to use photographs, videos or testimonials shared by travellers for marketing purposes. If you do not want your image, video or testimonial to be used, please inform us in writing.

Website Use & Copyright

All content on this website, including text, design, images, itineraries, logos, graphics and layouts, is protected by copyright and may not be copied, modified, reproduced, republished or used without written permission from us.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page and will become effective immediately upon posting. Customers are advised to review this page before confirming a booking.
